Am I an asshole for really not wanting a roommate even though she’s one of my best friends of 8 years?
I mean, she is moving in tomorrow and I am probably overdramatizing… it will probably be fine and even fun most days but I am just really not looking forward to having dead animal parts in my fridge (she’s veg-friendly and very respectful of my veganism, but obviously she can eat whatever she wants in her own home. Those last months of vegan-only home were very nice and I shall miss it dearly), having to clean up after myself all the time, not being able to walk around naked anymore, having to ask before I can invite people over, having people over when I don’t want people over, awkward intimacy invasion discussions and simply just letting someone in other than a family member or a lover.
